Stayed in a charming house with a cozy fireplace and all the amenities I needed. Loved the garden, and bonus points for free parking. WiFi was a lifesaver in this remote location.
Oh, just running out of hot water and having to share electric showers and boil water for a shave. So luxurious!

Free WiFi, garden, and parking. Fireplace, washing machine, and tumble dryer - who needs to leave the house? Also, conveniently close to Haddon Hall.
Oh, just a minor inconvenience, the hot water ran out. But hey, at least I got to use other people's bathrooms and boil water for a luxurious shave.

We stayed at Lynwood - Victorian Home In the Peak District and had a wonderful time. It truly felt like a home away from home. Ben, our host, was extremely helpful and responsive throughout our stay. With 4 cars, we were able to park 3 on the drive and 1 in the garage, which was very convenient. the location was perfect, just a short walk into town. We enjoyed delicious meals at nearby restaurants. the house itself was spacious and comfortable, with two lovely sitting rooms and spacious bedrooms. Everything was spotlessly clean, even though it was a dog friendly property.
Absolutely no dislikes! 🌟.

We had a lovely romantic escape at this hotel. The house felt like a cozy home-away-from-home with comfortable beds and spacious sitting rooms. We were able to bring our furry friend along as this was a dog-friendly property, and it was spotlessly clean. The location was perfect, just a short walk into town where we enjoyed three fantastic meals at nearby restaurants. We also had the convenience of parking our cars on the property, with space for three cars on the drive and one in the garage.
The only minor issue we experienced was running out of hot water. This meant some of us had to use the electric showers in different bathrooms and the inconvenience of boiling water for shaving.

The bedrooms were absolutely stunning! Each one had its own unique charm, with cozy beds that felt like sleeping on clouds. As an adult, I appreciated the elegant decor and the peaceful ambiance they created. Even the children couldn't resist the charming atmosphere.
The bathroom setup was a bit inconvenient for a large group like ours, but it was just a minor inconvenience that didn't dampen our overall experience.

This place was absolutely mind-blowing! The spacious and comfortable bedrooms were jaw-dropping, and the two lovely sitting rooms were super cozy to relax in. The host, Ben, was responsive and helpful, and we even had free Wi-Fi and free parking on the drive and garage. The location was perfect, just a short walk into town where we enjoyed three excellent meals at nearby restaurants. The circular walk from the house was breathtaking, with a pit stop at the Bull for a refreshing drink. We also took the hop on/hop off bus to visit Chatsworth and had an adventurous walk back. Although we didn't use most of the facilities, it was great to have everything available, like the dryer, cookware/ kitchen utensils, and flat-screen TV. The outdoor dining area was perfect for enjoying meals together. Plus, the fact that this was a pet-friendly property and still spotlessly clean was a huge plus. And to top it off, the cots, luggage storage, and no smoking policy made our stay even more enjoyable.
